EVG becomes West Coast Distributor for ASAP - Alternative Support Apparatus

Emergency Vehicle Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have become the West Coast Distibutor for ASAP - Alternative Support Apparatus, based in Ohio.
The ASAP, available as a fully enclosed all-terrain rescue/EMS vehicle or as an off-road wildland fire fighting apparatus, is built on Polaris' 6-by-6 Ranger chassis. ASAP works alongside your ambulance, fire and EMS fleet by providing an enclosed environment for the patient, housing a full-size cot and seating for up to two attendants and a driver. The fire-fighting version features a skid unit with booster tank and pump for wildland fire fighting.
The ASAP features a dedicated battery system to ensure the there is the power needed for scene, search and emergency lighting.
Forty (40) ASAP units are currently being built for the United States Air Force.
EVG feels the ASAP will provide a new resource for convention centers, sports complexes, amusement parks, beaches and the many special events that take place in our area.
